Is it the referee’s fault?
How many times do we blame a referee for the bad results obtained by our team? Too many I guess!
The last example was Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United Manager, who throw some bad comments regarding how fit it was the referee Alan Wiley after the match his team played against Sunderland early this month. However, this time, Sir Alex Ferguson had to apologise to the referee in question and is also facing a petition to be banned made by The Referee Union.
We hope we will not have to see this behaviour again in the match that Manchester United will be playing today against Barnsley. By the way, if you haven’t placed your bets yet for this Carling Cup match, you have still a few hours to do so!
